Who can take Davis Tech or Catalyst Center classes? Typically, these programs are reserved for seniors. You need to be on track for graduation, do well in your classes, and have room in your schedule your senior year. Meet with Mrs. Salisbury in the CTE center room 601 as soon as you know what program you want to pursue.
What is a CTE pathway? A CTE Career Pathway is a sequence of courses within a student's area of interest that connects to career interests and serves as an educational road map, leading to a credential. Certain conditioning classes, if taken for the entire school year, can provide 0.5 Fit for Life credit.
Does participating on a sports team give me PE credit? You can earn 0.50 Lifetime Activity (PE) credit for varsity participation in a sport (grades 9-12) as long as it doesn’t have a conditioning class associated with it.
