New Student Registration

Welcome to Woods Cross High School!
As a new student, you will need to complete the registration packet (see below) and return it to the school. Secretaries will be available for walk-ins in the main office during the summer or you can schedule an appointment for August 19th by calling Mrs. Hewitson in the counseling office at 402-4507 after August 5th
School begins Tuesday, August 20 at 8:30 AM. We follow an A day-B day schedule. Periods 1 - 4 are attended on A days and periods 5 - 8 are attended on B days with classes lasting 80-85 minutes. August 20th will be an A/B combined day. You will attend all eight classes that day. Each Tuesday is a late start day with school starting at 8:30.  There is a flex period every day after 2nd or 6th period for 30 minutes except Tuesdays due to late start.

Welcome to Woods Cross High School!

New Student Registration

Note: Students must be living with their parent or court-appointed legal guardian in the Woods Cross High School boundaries to register.

The following are required to enroll a new student:

1.      A parent or legal guardian must be present at time of registration. Guardianship Status Form must be completed.

2.      Bring photo ID.

3.      Utah School Immunization Record as required by the Utah State Health Department. ENROLLMENT CANNOT TAKE PLACE UNTIL IMMUNIZATION DATES ARE PROVIDED. Dates required for the following:

·        5 DTP/DTAP/DT/Td

·        1 TDAP

·        4 Polio

·        2 measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)

·        3 Hepatitis B

·        2 Hepatitis A

·        1 Varicella (chicken pox) or history of disease verified by parent signature

New to incoming sophomores:

·        1 Meningococcal

·        2 Varicella (chicken pox)

4.      Unofficial transcript and withdrawal grades from previous school (if applicable).

5.      Original birth certificate (a copy will be made).

6.      Proof of residence/Procedimientos de Prueba de Residencia. Two forms of documentation are required.  

7.      Record Request Form.

8.      Student Information Card/Formulario de Informacion del Estudiante.

9.      Special Education (IEP) or 504 records. A copy of the IEP or 504 is required before classes can be scheduled in order to meet all accommodations.

10.   McKinney-Vento Eligibility form/Elegibilidad McKinney-Vento.

IMPORTANT: Student registration fees and/or fee waiver form/solicitud para la exencion del pago de cuotas must be taken care of in the main office at the time of enrollment.
