If you haven't registered your kindergartener for the upcoming school year, please stop in any Wednesday from 9a-12noon (except July 24) and we'll help you get it taken care of!
We only have a handful of days left until the first day of school! If you're like a lot of families and haven't opened a book since the last day of school, it would be a good idea to start reading for 20 min every day to prevent the "summer slide."
All parent volunteers need a cleared background check through the district. Once complete, it lasts until all your children graduate. You cannot go on field trips without one and you cannot volunteer in your child's class or at holiday parties. It must be done at the DSD office in Farmington and they can get backed up the beginning of the school year. Call (801) 402-5722 and schedule an appt today get in early before everyone else!

Over the summer we want our students to learn their phone numbers and addresses. An alarming number of students do NOT know their phone number!
Start memorizing! We'll award house points for those students who know their information.

Tomorrow is our last day of school! Can you believe we all made it?! Don't forget that it's a half day, so we'll be dismissing students at 1:30p.
Field Day is tomorrow! Make sure your student comes prepared to enjoy several hours outside. Sunscreen, hats, and water are highly encouraged (remember that adults cannot apply your child's sunscreen; your student needs to be able to apply it themselves).
Our summer office hours will be Wednesdays from 9am to noon.
We still have a few extra yearbooks if you forgot to order yours the beginning of the year. They are $25 and must be paid for in the office with cash or check. Yearbooks will be handed out next week.

Be sure to check our Lost & Found before school lets out for the summer. We have a LOT of lost items that need to go back to their rightful home. If they aren't picked up, they will be donated.
Our amazing art teacher is teaching Summer Art again. If you lost your flyer, we have more in the office. Swing by with a completed flyer and a check or cash to the office to get signed up by Friday, May 17.
If you submitted a boundary request, you may not hear back until the Friday before the first day of school. If your child should go to a different school than ours, register them at their boundary school and wait to hear back on your boundary request.
