Warrior Hero Highlight We’re thrilled to welcome Mr. Wesley Dawson to the West Point team! He teaches Spanish 1 and 2 and brings energy, passion, and purpose to his classroom every day. Wesley was inspired to become a teacher by his own love of the Spanish language and culture. His goal is to help students fall in love with Spanish just like he did—and to show them the incredible benefits that come with learning a second language. He especially loves seeing the excitement on students' faces when they truly understand a concept and begin to grow in confidence. His favorite part of being a Warrior? The fact that our school mascot is named Wesley (great name!)—and, of course, being watched over by Mel Gibson’s doppelgänger in the legendary warrior mural! And here’s a fun fact: Mr. Dawson loves to cook. Whether he’s whipping up something in the kitchen or guiding students through language learning, he brings flavor, fun, and focus to everything he does at West Point! Returning for the 2025-26 School Year! Wesley Dawson Spanish 1 & 2
